WinterFest 2018

An annual family-friendly event held at the outdoor ice rink and sports fields. Take part in the ever-popular King and Queen competitions or bring your entire family to compete in the Royal Family activities. Various competitions take place throughout the day and conclude with the crowning of the WinterFest King, Queen, and Royal Family. Other events (that are not part of these competitions but are just as fun) include Score-O, Ice Cube Hunt, and Snow Sculpture Contest.

The ice rink is open to free skate during the entire event. There is the warming hut concession stand fully stocked and the fire pits are stoked throughout the day to keep the chill away. Take a wagon ride around the campus and visit with Frosty on the ice rink. We finish off the day of fun with a fantastic fireworks show!

Date: Friday, February 2, and Saturday, February 3
Time: Friday: Evening Hours (TBD); Saturday: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Location: Outdoor Ice Rink, High School Fields, and Wentworth Field
Cost: FREE

Annual Tree Lighting and Santa in the Park

Santa visits Scarborough Memorial Park in December. During his visit Santa assists with the lighting of holiday tree and meets with children. This event begins at 5:00 pm with tractor rides from the high school parking lot down to Memorial Park. Fire pits are lined along the stone risers surrounding the gazebo to keep people warm as they have a cup of hot chocolate and wait for the fireworks show. This event ends at approximately 6:30 pm.
